Welcome to the world of Dig It ImagingWelcome to the digitimaging web; my name is AJ and I've been freelance for three and a half years, covered events across Europe, the Middle East and Singapore, provided corporate and technical images to blue chip clients and have featured heavily in web and print media, including a recent Art in the City guide; my contribution eventually totaled 25% of the publication - the single largest contribution of the work (including the publishers in-house picture researchers). I also maintain a steady portraiture client base, have a sound knowledge of studio lighting and have been known to document the odd interior and cool venue.
My day rates are always flexible, an interesting opportunity outweighs money, and are usually in the region of £500.00 per day, with a nominal processing fee per image used. I shoot a full frame Canon 1Ds through top grade glass and as an ex training and development consultant with over 7 years senior level experience, my people and influencing skills add greatly to my overall offer. Marry all of that with highly developed project management skills and you have a creative mind that will achieve results many of my contemporaries could not and in such a way that keeps you the client informed and assured. My clients regularly feedback that my approach, style and results are way above any imaging professional they have used and not wishing to rest on my laurels, my future goals include extreme photojournalism and a variety of socially orientated projects. Your interest and use of me will facilitate these goals.
This 2009 collection represents a lot of travel, hanging about at night and interesting people doing weird and wonderful things. Oh and of course some general playfulness. Some may have meaning or are technical shots, some are totally random and completely self indulgent. Either way I urge you to look a little deeper than any aesthetic value and mail me any comments or interaction you have with my work. I hope you enjoy this collection and it provides you with a good overview of my experience, capabilities and intentions. Massive thanks to all the people who have helped to make this year so incredible and my extra special thanks to those of you who put yourself in the frame (literally). Without you, this would be a very dull place….
Oh, one last thing; I’ve also started the process of providing a little background detail to the image or situation surrounding the capture of image, its a first so I hope these translate.
I always welcome comment, advice (commissions) via my contact page
Thanks and stay curious
